Pay-Out Details

Lists pay-outs (non-refund removal of money from a bank) for the specified period of time. Each Pay-Out is listed under its group, along with when it was done, who did it, the reason and the amount.  See Change Pay or Comp Reasons to change pay-out groups. Used to audit cash handling activity.

Pay-In Details

Lists pay-ins (non-purchase addition of money to a bank) for the specified period of time. Each Pay-In is listed under its group, along with when it was done, who did it, the reason and the amount. See Change Pay or Comp Reasons to change pay-in groups. Used to audit cash handling activity.

Tender Rounding Details

Shows the number and type of each rounding event that occurred on payments, and the total balance. See the tender rounding settings in Change Tender Types. Typically used by Canadian stores to report on penny rounding losses or gains.

Daily Deposits Summary

Shows the custom tender groups you have created: for example, cash/check deposits, credit cards (funds being deposited via electronic deposit from the credit card companies) and total deposits each day. The format makes it ideal for accountants preparing monthly paperwork and reconciling bank statements. To create tender groups, see Change Tender Types. Notes: Report will only show data for the time period after upgrade to SpeedLine 7.2 or later. Tender types must have the Record in Deposit check box selected to appear in the report (see Change Tender Types).

Coupon Usage by Distribution Method

Lists the coupon usage, grouped by Distribution Method, for the specified period of time. Can be used to determine coupons that are redeemed most often, and the best form of media to distribute them. For example, is a coupon redeemed more often when distributed by Valpack or newspaper ad?

Coupon Usage

Lists each coupon used along with its total value for the specified period of time. Can be used to determine which coupons are most popular.

Coupon Usage Details

Reports the detailed usage of a specific coupon during the specified period of time: when they were used, the name and phone number of the customers who used them, and the tickets they were applied to. Can be used to see who is redeeming a particular coupon, or for fundraiser tracking.

Complimentary Discounts

Shows how much each comp category has been used during the specified period of time, why complimentary discounts were applied, the ticket number they were applied to, the employee name, and the date. This report can help you identify employees who may not be providing adequate customer service, or who may be providing free food to friends.

Manual Discounts

Shows how much each discount category has been used during the specified period of time, reason, ticket number, and date. Used as an audit tool to review discounts for potential abuse.

Remote Order Discounts

Shows the order discounts from Connect sources during the specified period of time. For third-party order aggregators like Chowly and ItsaCheckmate, includes the name of order source (e.g., GrubHub) if it is sent by the aggregator.

Employee Discounts

Shows the total number and value of discounts issued by all employees during the specified period of time. Used as an audit tool to review discounts for potential abuse.

Employee Discount Details

Shows any of the discounts (coupons, discounts, comps, customer credits, or all four) given by an individual employee during the specified period of time. Used as an audit tool to review discounts for potential abuse.

New Customers

Lists all of the customers who made their first purchase during the specified period of time. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used for distributing "welcome" or "bounce-back" offers.

Active Customers

Reports how many customers have ordered within the last 30, 60, 90 and 120 days. It also shows the total number of customers in the database at the moment the report is generated. Used to see how many customers are recent, versus lapsed. This ratio can be a key metric for measuring growth of your customer base.

Frequent Customers

Reports customers whose last orders were during the specified period of time and have ordered a specified number of times. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used to identify your best customers for reward promotions.

Lazy Customers

Reports customers whose last orders were during the specified period of time and have ordered a specified number of times. Shows how many days delayed a customer is in placing an order, based on their previous pattern of ordering. Also available as mailing labels, which include addresses, or an export file, which includes addresses, last order information, e-mail addresses, and total sales. Used to recover customers who may otherwise be lost to a competitor.

Customers by Zip

Lists every customer in the selected zip code. Along with the customer name and phone number it shows when they ordered last and their order totals. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Can be used to target marketing campaigns to a certain area.

Customers by Zone

Lists every customer in the selected zone. Along with the customer name and phone number it shows when they ordered last and their order totals. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used to help identify whether changes to your delivery area are needed.

Credit Issued Details

List customers who have been issued credits during the specified period of time. It includes the details of each credit issued including the employee, issue and expiration dates, and why it was issued. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used as an audit tool to review credits for potential abuse, or when determining credits outstanding for business accounting purposes.

Open Credits

Lists each customer that has an open credit on their account that has not been used. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used to determine outstanding liabilities for accounting purposes. Can also be used  to remind customers that they have credit available, and win back customers who may have had a negative experience.

Customer Sales

Lists order count, total value, and average value for all customers during the specified period of time. Also available as mailing labels or export file. Used to see who has ordered from you in a time frame you choose, how often, and average ticket value.

Customer Sales Details

Shows how much the customer paid for each order during the period, after discounts. Details include: date and time, order type and ticket number, discounts, coupons, and net sale. Can be used, for example, during investigation of a complaint.

Customers by Item Purchase

Shows all of the customers that have purchased a certain item during the specified period of time. Use for "affinity marketing" - to market related items to customers who have purchased a certain item in the past. For example, to promote a seafood special to customers who have ordered a seafood item in the past.

Customer by Modifier Purchase

Lists the customers who have purchased a certain modifier during the specified period of time. Can be used to determine if a new topping is worth keeping, or for affinity marketing.

House Account Balances

Reports customers that have House Accounts along with their balances as of the date specified. Includes the customer's name, phone number, when their last payment was made, and the balance due. Used to understand liabilities for accounting purposes.

House Account Details

Lists all of the House Account transactions for the selected customer during the specified period of time. Used when responding to a customer's inquiry about his or her account.

House Account Statement

A presentation quality statement that can be sent to customers. Statements can be printed on blank paper or on pre-printed stock.

Customer Export

Lists customer information in a no-frills format that is suitable for importing into other programs such as Microsoft Excel.

The following fields are exported when you create a Customer Export report: FirstName LastName, CompanyName, Apartment, StreetNumber, StreetName, City, State, Zip, Phone, FirstOrder, LastOrder, YTDOrders, YTDOrderValue, TotalOrders, TotalOrderValue, Zone_1, Zone_2, Zone_3, Zone_4, CustomerID, Email.

Prospects

Lists all the prospects in a certain zip code or city that are contained in the prospect database and have not yet ordered. Also available as mailing labels. Used for marketing to prospects, while excluding existing customers.

Customer Comments

Lists customers who have had comments added to their records during the specified period of time. Reports comments that staff have recorded on the customer's record  in Terminal.

Check Offenders

Reports customers who were flagged for writing bad checks during the specified period of time. Also available as mailing labels or export file.

Customer Birthdays

Lists customers with birthdates in a specified range. Available as mailing labels or an export file. Birthdates must be recorded in Terminal. Can be used to send out birthday offers.

Employee Credit Issued

Shows the total customer credits issued by each employee for the specified period of time. Can be used to manage overuse of credits.

Loyalty Point Balances

Shows one or all loyalty program members with the name, phone, last transaction date, and point balance. Also gives average point balance per customer. Can show only customers with balances over a specified value. Available as labels or export format. Can be used to send reminders of how close a customer is to a reward, to encourage more frequent visits and higher spend.

Loyalty Transaction Detail

Shows loyalty program transactions for one or all customers during a specified time period. Available as labels or export format. Could be used to send a mailing to newly enrolled loyalty club members.

LiveMaps Customer Mapping Quality

Shows the quality of mapping data for customers in your database. For use with the LiveMaps delivery mapping add-on.

Customer Data Maps

Graphical reports, these maps show sales data as color-coded regions superimposed on a map of your trade area. For use with the LiveMaps delivery mapping add-on. See Map Customer Data.

Employee Info

Lists the employee names, addresses, and emergency contact information.

Employee Phone List

List the employees and their "home" and "other" telephone numbers.

Employee Birthday List

Lists employee names and birthdays.

Employee Events

Lists events for each employee within the specified period of time. Events listed include: birthday; changes to minor restrictions; comment added, event (message) added, hire date approaching; termination date approaching; scheduled time off beginning or ending; License, registration, or insurance expiration; test scheduled, completed, or score entered.

Employee Test Summary

Lists the employee tests for the specified period of time.

Employee Tests

Lists the tests scheduled and completed for a selected employee.

Pay Period

Lists a summary of shifts worked, hours, gross pay, declared tips (if the Tip Prompt setting is selected), tips included in pay (if paying tips at pay period end) in-store and out-store pay (if Enable On-Site/Off-Site Tracking is selected)  and fees paid to drivers for each employee for the specified period of time. If using LiveMaps with the Record on Employee shifts check box selected, shows estimated drive distance.

Pay Period Details

Shows the total of shifts worked, hours, gross pay, tips (if the Tip Prompt setting is selected), in-store and out-store pay, and fees paid to drivers, summarized by job type, for all employees who have worked during the specified period of time.  If using LiveMaps with Record on Employee shifts selected, shows drive distance.

Tip Details

Reports the details of all tip adjustments on tickets: ticket total, tip, and tip percentage. These totals may not always match the tip totals on the Pay Period and Time Sheet reports if employees declare cash tips at clock out that were not recorded in Terminal. If an employee name is not selected in the report wizard, tips assigned to station banks are also shown (usually at the top of the report, if it is sorted by last name).

Time Sheet

Lists the details of the shifts worked by an employee during the specified period of time. Edited shifts are indicated with an asterisk (*). Similar to the time sheet printed by Terminal. A dagger symbol (†) indicates that the employee was automatically clocked out by SpeedLine that shift.

Time Clock Edits

Shows the original and edited shift information for all time clock edits for the specified period of time. A dagger symbol (†) indicates that the employee was automatically clocked out by SpeedLine that shift.

Shift Snapshots

Shows snapshots of the restaurant performance.  Sales, delivery, cash, and labor data at the time the snapshot was taken are shown. Snapshots are taken automatically at employee clock-out, or when the Terminal Take Snapshot button is touched. Employee or department must have the Take Snapshot check box selected. See Manage Departments or Assign Job and Salary. Generally used to gauge manager performance.

Minimum Wage Shortfall

Lists all employees that have not met minimum wage requirements within the specified period of time.

Employee Sales Summary

Shows the net sales from tickets created by (rather than assigned to) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Sales Summary (Assigned To)

Shows the net sales from tickets assigned to (rather than created by) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Item Sales

Reports on the sales of specific item(s) for each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Modifier Usage

Reports on the sales of specific modifiers(s) for each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Category Sales

Reports the total sales of one or more specific item categories from tickets created by (rather than assigned to) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Category Sales (Assigned To)

Reports the total sales of one or more specific item categories from tickets assigned to (rather than created by) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Discounts

Shows the total number of discounts issued by each employee during the specified period of time.

Employee Discount Details

Shows all of the discounts (coupons, discounts, comps, customer credits, or all four) given by an individual employee during the specified period of time.

Dispatch/Delivery Times

Reports the average delivery times for each driver for the specified period of time. Times less than 2 minutes and greater than 100 minutes are excluded from average times, but included in the number of deliveries.

Dispatch (previously known as Out-The-Door/OTD) time is the number of minutes from ticket completion to dispatch. Delivery time is the time from ticket assignment at dispatch to the driver return (the "Drive" time).

Note: For delivery times to be accurate, orders should be assigned immediately before the driver leaves the store, and drivers should be returned on the Dispatch screen promptly after they return.

Delivery Trip Size

Provides the count of the delivery runs grouped by the number of tickets taken on each run. The records are listed for each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Credit Issued

Shows the total customer credits issued by each employee for the specified period of time.

Credit Issued Details

Lists customers who have been issued credits during the specified period of time. It includes details of each credit issued including the employee and why it was issued. Also available as mailing labels or export file.

Server Statistics Details

If using the Floor Plan option for table service, lists details of the parties served by each server during the specified period of time, including time to order, time to bus, and turnover time.

Stock Items

Lists stock items and their current stock levels and value.

Suppliers

Lists the suppliers and their contact information. Also available as mailing labels.

Purchase Order Summary

Lists purchase orders with the creation date and the dates that the new stock was expected and received.

Purchase Order

Lists the purchase order in a standard format suitable for sending to a supplier.

Count List

Lists the items in the open count list and provides a space to fill in the actual amount in stock. Can be printed in one, two, or three-column layout.

Negative Stock

Lists stock items with negative stock levels, according to SpeedLine Inventory. This report can be used to identify overuse of a product during production, or a  receive that was not entered. Negative stock levels should not occur as a rule, so this report is generally used for troubleshooting. See Inventory Testing and Troubleshooting for some common causes of negative stock.

Receipt Summary

Lists Receive batches, grouped by supplier.

Stock Valuation

Lists current stock levels and value, including a per unit cost, the number of units available for each item, a total value of each item, and the total net worth of the store's stock.

Usage Variance

Lists transaction totals, ideal usage, actual usage, and the variance between expected stock amounts and the store's actual stock level. Can be used to identify theft or portioning issues. See Tips to Minimize Usage Variance for some causes of excessive variance.

Transaction Details

Lists stock item transactions for a reporting period.

Batch Summary

Lists posted inventory batches for the specified period of time.

Product Margin

Lists the margin on products in specified item categories, based on ingredient cost and product price.

Interim Inventory

Lists current stock levels, minus the amount used up to a certain point of the business day. See Create an Interim Ideal Usage Report.

Batch Details

Lists the details for any type of posted batch such as Receive, Transfer or Count.

Prep Variance

Reports on the variance between the forecasted Prep Plan and the actual item sales for the specified period of time.

Daily Sales Summary

Shows gross and net sales number of orders each day for the specified period of time. Also includes cumulative totals.

Voided Tickets

Lists the details of every voided ticket during the specified period of time. It includes the date, Ticket ID, reason recorded, and employee who performed the void. Tickets that had only selected items voided (and not the entire ticket) are marked with an asterisk beside the ticket total.

Voided Items

Lists the details of every voided item during the specified period of time. It includes the date, Ticket ID, item name, item category, reason recorded, and employee who performed the void.

Sales Tax

Lists and totals all taxes collected for the specified period of time.

Tax Exempt Sales

Lists the tax exempt sales for the specified period of time.

Sales By Item

Summarizes the sales of a specified item or item category for the specified period of time.

Modifier Usage

Lists the number of times a modifier is used for a specific modifier or modifier category, and the specified period of time.

Item Usage Modifier

Lists all of the items that have had a specific modifier used with it for the specified period of time.

Sales by Category

Summarizes the sales of each item category and its percentage of gross sales for the specified period of time.

Sizes Sold

Lists the sold items along with their sizes for the specified period of time.

Sizes Sold for Modifier

Lists the modifiers used along with their sizes for the specified period of time.

Sales by Zone

Summarizes the order count and total sales for each customer zone for the specified period of time.

Hourly Item Sales

Lists the sales for one category, grouped by hour and size, for the specified period of time.

Hourly Modifier Usage

Lists the modifier sales for one category, grouped by hour and modifier, for the specified period of time.

Hourly Items Sales for Modifier

Lists the items that have been sold with the specified modifier, grouped by hour and size, for the specified period of time.

Hourly Order Type Sales

Lists the sales, grouped by hour and order type, for the specified period of time. Orders are shown in the hour the ticket is created. For deferred tickets, this will be the hour the ticket activates.

Sales By City

Lists the sales totals and number of orders grouped by the customers' city.

Ticket List

Lists all the tickets for a given range of dates and selected order type. Includes ticket #, customer information, # items,  number of coupons/discounts and value, and ticket total (including taxes).

Delivery Performance

If run for a single day, gives delivery statistics for each delivery ticket (driver, order and dispatch time, return time, delivery and quoted minutes, number of minutes early or late). If run for a range of days, gives a summary of delivery statistics for each day.

Server Statistics Details

Lists details of the parties served by each server during the specified period of time, including time to order, time to bus, and turnover time.

Section Usage Details

Shows details like number of parties, turnover, and party total for all tables grouped by section.

Customer Sales Details

Shows details on each time a particular customer has ordered within the specified period of time.

Employee Sales Summary

Lists the net sales from tickets created by (rather than assigned to) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Sales Summary (Assigned To)

Lists the net sales from tickets assigned to (rather than created by) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Item Sales

Reports on the sales of a specific item(s) for each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Modifier Usage

Reports on the sales of a specific modifier(s) for each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Category Sales

Reports the total sales of one or more specific item categories from tickets created by (rather than assigned to) each employee for the specified period of time.

Employee Category Sales (Assigned To)

Reports the total sales of one or more specific item categories from tickets assigned to (rather than created by) each employee for the specified period of time.

Remote Order Sales Summary

Reports the net sales from each Connect source (e.g., SpeedDine, or Chowly) over the specified period of time. For third-party order aggregators like Chowly and ItsaCheckmate, includes the name of order source (e.g., GrubHub) if it was sent by the aggregator.

Street List

Lists all of the streets in the street database.

Day End Times

Lists the business day and end time for each day in the specified period of time.

System Events

Lists the details, date and time of events that were logged during the specified period of time. A specific event type can be chosen on the Event Type page of the report wizard; if an individual event is not selected, the details of all logged events are shown on the report.
