Store Manager Security Privilege Descriptions

Important Some security settings depend on others to work. For example, to be able to access Menu Sets (under Menu), you must grant the privilege to access the Store Manager Settings tab (under General).

Important Changes to Store Manager security settings do not come into effect until you exit Store Manager.

House Accounts	Access the House Accounts settings.
E-mail	Access the E-mail settings.
Delivery Zones	Access the Delivery Zones table.
Stores	Access the Stores table.
Streets	Access the Streets table.
Loyalty	Access the Loyalty settings.
Employees
Employees	Access the Employees screen.
Employee Options	Access Employee Options.
Allow Name Change	Edit the First Name, Last Name, and Initial fields in an employee's profile (Employees, Personal tab).
Minor Employee Restrictions	Access the Minor Employee Restrictions settings.
Edit Login Information for employees in the same Hierarchy Level	Edit settings on employee profiles for employees in the same Department Hierarchy level.
Edit Login Information for employees in a lower Hierarchy Level	Edit settings on employee profiles for employees in a lower Department Hierarchy level.
Edit Hourly Pay Rates	Edit an employee's hourly pay rate; add an employee job.
Edit Salary Pay Rates	Edit an employee's salary type.
View SSNs for employees in the same Hierarchy Level	View Social Security numbers (or Social Insurance numbers, in Canada) for employees in the same Hierarchy level.
View SSNs for employees in a lower Hierarchy Level	View Social Security numbers (or Social Insurance numbers, in Canada) for employees in a lower Hierarchy level.
View Pay rates for Employees in the same Hierarchy level	View the pay rate of an employee in the same Department Hierarchy level.
View Pay rates for Employees in a lower Hierarchy level	View the pay rate of an employee in a lower Department Hierarchy level.
Delete Employee	Delete employees.
Set Up User ID	Set employee User IDs.
Set Up Mag Card	Register employee magnetic cards.
Set Up Fingerprints	Register employee fingerprints.
Set Up Strong Password	Set a strong password for employees in the same Department Hierarchy level or lower.
Edit Track on Time Clock	Enable or disable the setting to track a department or employee on the Time Clock
