Set Up Punchh Loyalty

SpeedLine integrates with Punchh loyalty, allowing you to offer a cardless multi-store loyalty option to your customers. Customers can install the Punchh app on their smartphones, so a plastic card is not required. Contact Punchh for more information on the range of programs available and how to sign up. When you have the setup information provided by Punchh, follow the instructions below to enter communication information and to customize how Punchh interacts with Terminal.

Note Before completing the procedure below, Punchh must be selected in the Processor Interface list, and other general loyalty settings entered. See Enter General Loyalty Settings for instructions.

Note Before using Punchh loyalty, the Ticket ID Assignment setting must be set to "On Ticket Create." See Change Ticket ID Number Assignment for instructions.

Warning HM

Caution Do not activate or de-activate loyalty during the business day. To prevent problems with voided tickets, wait until after running day end or before making sales the next day before changing loyalty settings.

1.On the Settings tab, click People, and then click Loyalty. icon_loyalty

2.Click the Punchh tab.

3.Enter the Punchh loyalty settings as required. Click the settings in the image below to see a description of each.

4.Set ticket print options to print the Punchh bar code at the bottom of tickets when an account has not been associated with the ticket:

a.In the sidebar menu, click Hardware, and then click Ticket Print Options.

b.Click the tab for the ticket format you will give to customers (usually Delivery or Presentation).

c.Select the Print Loyalty Message check box. This will print a number and bar code at the bottom of the ticket that customers can later enter on the website or scan with the Punchh app to claim points.

5.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes. Refresh or start Terminal to activate your new loyalty settings.
