There are two options that control when a ticket is assigned a Ticket ID by SpeedLine. Follow the procedure below to change the way Ticket IDs are assigned.
To Change Ticket ID Assignment
1.Go to the Settings> System> System Options > General tab.
2.In the Ticket ID Assignment area, do one of the following:
•Select On Ticket Create to assign an ID after the first item is added to the ticket. This setting is recommended for stores using integrated credit card processing, and is required if accepting EMV payments, if using Punchh loyalty, and for Kitchen Monitor Quick Service Mode.

•Select On Ticket Complete to assign an ID to the ticket only after it has been completed.
Note Because every Ticket ID must be accounted for by SpeedLine, tickets with an assigned ID that are canceled before completion (as can happen when "On Ticket Create" is chosen) will be saved as "void-cancel" tickets. Tickets that have not been assigned a Ticket ID when canceled are not saved in the system. |
3.On the Edit menu, select Save Changes.
4.Refresh Terminal on all stations to implement your new setting.
