Once Buffet Planning is set up, you can view and print a buffet plan by following the instructions in this topic. If you have not yet set up buffet planning, go to the start of the Buffet Planning SpeedStart Tutorial for instructions.
1.Go to the Today> Operations Planning> Prep Planning >Buffet Plan tab.
2.Click the arrow buttons to select the date to view.
3.Click a buffet name tab. The buffet plan will tell you the quantity of each food item to put out for each buffet that day.

4.Adjust the number of buffets you expect to sell in the Store Plan columns to reflect your experience or knowledge of upcoming events, if needed. As you change the numbers in the Store Plan, the quantities to put out for the buffet also change (if needed).
Caution Clicking the Revert to System button will clear any manually-adjusted values and return to system-generated projection numbers. Manually-entered data that has been cleared is not recoverable. |
5.Click the Print button to print a buffet plan report that you can post on the wall or clipboard in your prep area.The report also provides areas to record the actual usage of buffet items; this is important if you are using SpeedLine Inventory and are recording actual usage in Terminal. You may also want to record actual usage on the plan in order to fine tune your buffet consumption factors.
