If you are using SpeedLine Inventory, SpeedLine recommends that you use the "Entry" Buffet consumption based on option (see Configure General Buffet Settings for more information). With this option, you to enter actual buffet usage into Terminal after the buffet is over, so SpeedLine can calculate Inventory food cost and ideal usage figures more accurately.

Note If you selected the the "Projected" Buffet consumption based on option (see Configure General Buffet Settings) there is no need to enter actual buffet usage in Terminal. SpeedLine will instead estimate buffet usage based on the buffet consumption factors you enter (see Enter Buffet Consumption Factors). |

1.When the buffet is over, in Terminal, click User> Manager> Buffet Usage.
2.In the Select Buffet window, select a buffet name, and then touch Select. The Full Review screen displays a copy of the template. Editing this copy will not change the original.
3.Edit the template items and quantities to match the actual quantities of food items used (as recorded on the buffet plan):
a.touch the item, and then touch Edit. The menu screen appears.
b.Touch a new quantity, and then touch Full Review.
c.To change the items offered on the current day's buffet, touch the item on the ticket display, and then touch the Add or Delete buttons below the display.
4.When the items and quantities displayed match what was used, click Complete to save the buffet usage.
