A panel designed for ordering menu items (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.) must have all buttons necessary to complete an order in Terminal. The checklist below will help ensure that you have added all the necessary panel components (Definition: An element that can be placed on a menu panel using the components toolbar in Panel Designer. Some components, for example simple item buttons, are linked to items in your menu. Other components, for example quantity or size buttons, are linked to information in the Root Menu tabs. There are also components, for example titles and background shapes, that are not linked to menu information.).
1.Have buttons for all menu items and their modifiers been added to the proper menu panels?
2.Have quantity buttons been added?
3.Have buttons for all necessary modifier types (for example, Heavy, or On Side) been added?
4.Have any needed portion or size buttons been added?
5.If you are using a main panel that links to order screens, do the order screens contain a button to return to the main panel?
6.Do all panels that need ticket displays have them, and are they in the same place on each panel?
7.If Auto-complete has not been selected for the panel, does it have an enter or complete button to finalize menu selections?
8.Have you saved the menu, and run a menu check?
9.Have you activated the panels in Store Manager?
10.Have you refreshed the primary station using the Refresh Terminal button on the Terminal Manager screen?
If the answer to all of these questions is yes, you are ready to test your new or revised panel in Terminal.
