Welcome to the SpeedLine Menu Designer™ Help file. Menu Designer is the tool you use to design, update, and test your SpeedLine Terminal menu; add pricing and tax amounts; and create and manage your store coupons. Menu Designer integrates with SpeedLine Store Manager and SpeedLine Inventory to serve several important functions, such as inventory tracking, food usage, pricing and printer make routes.
SpeedLine Inventory is a purchased add-on software module to Store Manager that allows you to manage your inventory directly in Store Manager using your menu file. For information on purchasing SpeedLine Inventory, please call your SpeedLine Sales Representative.
To Open the Help for the Current Screen:
•Click the field or area of the screen you want help with, and press F1. Because SpeedLine Help is context-sensitive, the Help will open to the relevant topic.
The Menu Designer Help is made up of chapters and topics. To view a topic, click on its icon in the table of contents. 
To expand a chapter, click on the expand button.

To collapse the chapter, click on the collapse button.

This help file addresses features and procedures in Menu Designer. It is made up of chapters and two types of topics: "Procedure" topics and "Reference" topics.
•"Procedure" topics provide instructions on using Menu Designer features. •"Reference" topics  provide additional information on Menu Designer features. These topics provide context and background to help you understand the system as a whole. |

You can navigate Menu Designer Help by using the Windows Help buttons to view or search the topics, and to move backwards or forwards through topics you have already viewed.

•The Hide/Show button hides or shows the right side navigation window. •The Back and Forward buttons take you backward or forward through the previously viewed topics. •The Contents tab displays the chapters and topics within the table of contents tree. •The Index tab provides you with an alphabetized list of topics as well as a topic keyword search function. •The Search tab enables you to search for specific words within a topic. Topics that contain the matching words will be displayed. |
