Add Item or Modifier Buttons

Item (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.) or modifier (A Modifier is a choice that is applied to a menu item, such as a pepperoni topping on a pizza.) buttons are used to order menu items. These buttons are linked to nodes on the Menu Tree.

Important Before adding panel buttons for menu items or modifiers, you must have nodes for those items in the Menu Tree. To add Item nodes, see Add a Menu Item. To add Modifier nodes, see Add a Modifier

To Add Menu Item Buttons:

There are two ways to add buttons to menu panels: with a wizard, or manually. If you are adding several menu items to the panel at once, it is usually faster to use the wizard. Click the appropriate link below to see instructions.

Hint If your menu item names are long, you may need to edit the button caption so that it fits on the button.
