A ticket display is an important part of any menu panel, because it shows the order-taker which menu items have been selected. The display contents can be adjusted by editing ticket display properties. For example, you can add or remove the Edit, Sub, Delete, Dupl (duplicate), and +1 buttons below the display that allow order-takers to modify the order without leaving the menu panel.
To Add a Ticket Display:
1.Open an existing panel in the Panel Designer.
2.Click the Ticket Display button on the Components toolbar.
3.Click in the Panel Designer workspace to add the display. A size of 200 pixels high by 225 pixels wide is the default.
Hint A width of less than 225 pixels will cut off some item names. To show all the buttons at the bottom of the ticket display, including the DUPL and +1 buttons, the recommended minimum size is 395 pixels wide. |
Important If a ticket display is resized to less than 100 pixels in height by 160 pixels in width, item names will not display; this will cause a warning when you run a menu check. |
4.To align the display with other components, drag it until the alignment guides indicate that it is in position, and then release the mouse button.
5. Edit Ticket Display Properties, if desired.
