This tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up and using the SpeedLine Scheduling tool to schedule employee shifts.
Before completing the Scheduling SpeedStart Tutorial:
•If you have not already set up the sales forecast tool, complete the Sales Forecasting SpeedStart Tutorial. After setup, the sales forecast will provide projected sales information to the Scheduling tool to help you determine the right number of labor hours to schedule for upcoming weeks.
•Use SpeedLine for at least two weeks. This will provide historical sales data to the Scheduling tool to help predict labor needs. Projecting labor needs based on sales becomes more accurate after you have completed six weeks of sales with SpeedLine.
After completing the Scheduling tutorial, you will know how to:
•Enter the labor settings required to use the Scheduling tool.
•Enter employee shifts on the schedule.
•Print a schedule.
•View and interpret the weekly summary.
