Important You must load a local source certificate before you can export an external one. |

Note This procedure is only required if the Conventional source type is selected on the General sub-tab. It is not required if you are using SpeedDine. |

1.Click the Settings tab, click the System group, and then click SpeedLine Connect. ![]()
2.Click the SpeedLine Connect Sources tab, and then click the Connection tab.
3.Select the Use Secure Connection (TLS) check box.
4.In the External Source Certificate area, click Export. A password prompt appears.
5.Do one of the following:
•To protect the certificate with a password (recommended), enter and confirm the password.
-or-
•To leave the certificate unprotected (this is not recommended), leave the password fields blank and click OK.

Note If you protect the certificate with a password as recommended, ensure that the Connect Source will use password authentication with the External Source Certificate. |
6.The certificate is exported as <Connect Source Name> External Source Certificate.pfx in C:\SpeedLine\Data\Keys on the primary server [To determine whether a station is the primary server, secondary server, or a work station, log in to Terminal and look at the bottom of the screen, or run WS Config (found on the Start menu under SpeedLine Solutions Inc).].
