To comply with PCI DSS regulations, your SpeedLine and Windows passwords must be changed regularly. The easiest way to change passwords is to use the Password Maintenance utility provided with SpeedLine. Follow the steps below to start Password Maintenance from Store Manager.
To Use the Password Maintenance Utility
1.On the Today tab, under the Today's Tools group, click Password Maintenance.

Hint You can also access the utility by entering "SL Password Maintenance" in the Windows search bar, or by double-clicking PasswordMaintenance.exe in C:\SpeedLine\Applications. |
2.In the Password field, enter the password for the Windows Admin account.
3.Click Run Password Maintenance.
4.The Password Maintenance wizard will start. Do one of the following:
•To change Windows passwords immediately, complete the wizard.
-or-
•To change SpeedLine passwords, or for more advanced functionality like scheduled password changes, click Exit Wizard and View All Options to close the wizard and open the main Password Maintenance screen.
