Instead of creating a new menu button, it may be easier to copy an existing button. The new button will be an exact copy of the original button and will link to the same menu information.
To Copy a Button and Paste It on the Same Panel:
1.Open an existing panel in the Panel Designer.
2.Right-click on the button you want to copy in the Panel Designer workspace and select Duplicate from the shortcut menu. The new button will appear slightly offset from the original in the Panel Designer workspace.
3.Drag the button to the desired position in the Panel Designer workspace. Alignment guides indicate when the button is aligned with other panel components.
4.Change the item the button is linked to:
a.In the Components Property Editor, click Menu Link and select the desired type of link from the list.
b.Select the linked menu item, panel, or coupon on the Menu Tree, and then click OK. The caption for the new item will appear on the button.
7.Change other button properties, if desired.
