The SpeedLine Inventory Worksheet included in the Store Manager Document viewer will help you record all the required information from your menu. If you have Microsoft Excel, you can fill in the sheet on your computer. If you do not have Excel, you can print the worksheet and write on it.
Record the recipes for all menu items that contain the ingredients you have decided to track in the previous step.
To Access the Inventory Worksheet
1.On the Store Manager Today tab, click Today's Tools.
2.Click Document Viewer. The documents display on the right.
3.Double-click the .xls or .pdf SpeedLine Inventory Worksheet file to open it.
Note You will need Excel to open the .xls file or a PDF reader to open the .pdf file. You can download the Adobe PDF Reader free from the Web at http://get.adobe.com/reader/. |
To Record Your Recipes
1.Open the Inventory Worksheet. Even if you are not filling it in, use it as a guide when recording your recipe information.
2.Follow the instructions on the Stock Items & Conversions page to record the stock items you purchase, the purchase, stocking, count, and usage units of measure, and any conversions between them.
3.Record topping amounts on the Create-your-own Toppings page.
4.Record recipes, including packaging, on the Base Pizza Recipes page and Recipe Examples pages.
