1.Click the SpeedLine tab (Settings> People> Loyalty> SpeedLine).
2.Choose a point accumulation method:
•Ticket Value: Customers accumulate points based on the net dollar value of each ticket (the number of points per dollar is determined by the Accumulation Multiplier value). Because accumulation is based on net value, discounts will decrease the number of points accumulated.
•Ticket Count: Customers accumulate points based on number of tickets (the number of points per ticket is determined by the Accumulation Multiplier value).
•Product Value: Customers accumulate points based on the gross dollar value of a certain product purchased (the number of points per dollar is determined by the Accumulation Multiplier value). Because accumulation is based on gross value, discounts will not reduce the number of points accumulated.
•Product Count: Customers accumulate points based on the number of a certain product purchased (the number of points per product is determined by the Accumulation Multiplier value). If you are planning a "buy X, get one free" program, choose this setting.
•Visit-based: Customers earn loyalty credits for completing a defined number of visits or offer bonus points for certain interactions/events.
Important If you selected the Product Value or Product Count point accumulation methods above, you must identify the items in your menu that will trigger point accumulation by selecting the Loyalty Product check box in the items' As Item tab. See Identify Items as Loyalty Products in Menu Designer Help. |
3.In the Accumulation Multiplier field, type or select the multiplication factor to use for point accumulation. For example, to accumulate ten points for every dollar or count, select or type "10." Ticket or product values are rounded after multiplication. For example, if the ticket value is $19.42 and the multiplier is 10, 19.42 x 10 = 194.2, so 194 points are accumulated. If the ticket value is $19.45 and the multiplier is 10, 19.45 x 10 = 194.5, so 195 points are accumulated.
Hint For examples of typical accumulation methods and accumulation multipliers, see Loyalty Reward Examples. |
4.In the Initial Points field, type or select the number of points to award to a customer as an enrollment bonus. The points will be added when the Enroll button is touched in Terminal.
