This tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up and using the SpeedLine Prep Planning tool to print a report of your item-by-item food preparation needs for each day and preparation time.
Before completing the Prep Planning SpeedStart Tutorial:
•Set up Sales Forecasting, (if you haven't done so already) so that SpeedLine can use forecast sales to help predict your prep needs. To set up sales forecasting quickly, complete the Sales Forecasting SpeedStart Tutorial.
•Use SpeedLine for at least two weeks. This will provide historical sales data to the Prep Planning tool. Prep plan figures become more accurate after you have completed six weeks of sales with SpeedLine.
After completing the Prep Planning tutorial, you will know how to:
•Enter prep times in Menu Designer and tag items or modifiers to be prepared in advance.
•Enter the initial Store Manager settings required to use the Prep Planning tool.
•View and print a prep plan.
The tutorial consists of four steps:

•Step 3: Enter General Prep Planning Settings
•Step 4: View and print the Prep Plan
