SpeedLine can create and manage purchase orders. These features can be found in the Settings> Inventory> Purchase Orders screen. Although optional, using Purchase Orders can help streamline receives. When the shipment arrives, the receiver can quickly load the purchase order items in the Receive screen. This makes entering the receive much faster.
Some suppliers have their own purchase orders or automated supply systems. The McLane Foodservice SourceLink system can be integrated into SpeedLine and used in the receive process. Contact SpeedLine for more information on compatibility with these systems.
