Store Manager Help

Use this procedure to permanently remove old shift data from the database.

Warning HM

Caution Records removed from the database cannot be restored unless you have a backup. SpeedLine recommends that you back up your database before clearing any old data. For instructions on how to create a backup, see  the "Safeguarding Your Data" PDF, available in the Document Viewer.

1.Go to Settings> People> Employee Options icon_employeeOptions> Utilities tab.

2.In the Clear Old Shifts area, select an Older Than date from the calendar.

Warning HM

Caution The cleared shifts are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. It is not recommended that you clear shifts worked during the last two years. Your regional laws may specify how long employment and shift records must be kept on file.

3.Click the Clear button, and then click Yes when asked to confirm. Store Manager will remove all shift data up to and including the Older Than date you selected.

4.Click OK.
