Pricing Categories are used to group items (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.) for multi-pricing when the items belong to different item categories. For example, a Pricing Category will enable you to combine your pizza and pasta together for pricing purposes.
To Add Pricing Categories
1.Click the Menu Root 
, and then click the Pricing Category tab.
2.Enter each Pricing Category name into the text entry field.
3.Click the Save button 
on the toolbar. Your new Pricing Category is now available for selection in the General tab of price nodes.
