Tax Groups are a group of taxes that apply to a particular item (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.). They are created in Store Manager and are applied to menu items in Menu Designer. Tax Group names must be entered into the Tax Group tab exactly as they appear in Store Manager.

To Add Tax Groups
1.Click the Menu Root 
, and then click the Tax Groups tab.
2.Enter each Tax Group name exactly as it appears in Store Manager into the text entry field.
3.Click the Save button 
on the toolbar. The new tax group is now available for selection in the node tabs.
