Shapes are sized and positioned the same way that other panel components (An element that can be placed on a menu panel using the components toolbar in Panel Designer. Some components, for example simple item buttons, are linked to items in your menu. Other components, for example quantity or size buttons, are linked to information in the Root Menu tabs. There are also components, for example titles and background shapes, that are not linked to menu information.) are. This topic covers only the editable properties that are unique to shapes.
Click the links below to change the properties of the shape as required:
1.Open the panel in Panel Designer, and then select the shape in the Panel Designer workspace. 2.In the Components Property Editor, click Shape Style and select Unstyled.

Note Selecting a Shape Style of Shape Style 1 will result in a shape with a clear background and black border when the menu is loaded in Terminal. This style will override other font and background color settings in the components property editor.

3.The Brush section controls the fill inside the shape, and the Pen section controls the border around the shape. Click the Expand buttons to expand both sections of the editor. 4.In the Brush section, click Background Color and select a fill color from the drop-down list. 5.Click Style and select a fill style from the drop-down list. bsSolid brush style will fill the shape with a solid color. If you select bsClear as the brush style, only the border of the shape will remain (you can use shapes to create a border around groups of buttons this way). The other brush styles fill the shape with a pattern of fine stripes. |
