A valuable feature of the Sales Mix is the ability to import and alter a previous DayFile. By importing the DayFile, you can see how changes would affect your previous day's gross sales.

To Create a Sales Mix from a Previous DayFile:

.In the Menu Tree, select the Sales Mix group. ButtonSalesMix

.On the toolbar, click the Wizard button ButtonWizard, and then click Sales Mix Wizard.

.At the Sales Mix wizard welcome screen, click Next.

.Load a recent DayFile by clicking the Browse button, bBrowse selecting the DayFile, and clicking Open.

.Click Next and select how menu selections will be grouped: by Ticket (for each ticket in the day file, create a corresponding ticket in the sales mix), by Order Type (create one ticket in the sales mix for each order type), or Not Grouped (Add all menu selections in the day file to one ticket in the sales mix. Use this if you will be exporting the sales mix to Excel, as it eliminates multiple ticket headers for easier sorting.).

.Click Next.

.Select whether to combine identical menu selections into one selection (thus avoiding duplication of the same selection), or leave them as separate selections.

.Click Next.

.Click Finish to complete the Sales Mix wizard. Your new Sales Mix node IconSalesMix will be available in the Sales Mix group.

.Test the new sales mix.
