When enabled, Terminal Clock In and Clock Out preferences will prevent employees from clocking in or out outside the time window you set, unless they obtain a manager override.

To Monitor Employee Clock-in and Clock-out

Note HM

Note You must schedule employees using the Store Manager Scheduling tool in order to monitor and control Terminal clock-in or clock-out times.

1.Go to the Settings> People> Scheduling Options icon_schedulingOptions> Terminal Settings tab.

2.Select or clear the Check Schedule on Clock In or Check Schedule on Clock Out check boxes to tell SpeedLine whether or not to check employees' scheduled shift times when they clock in or out.

3.Enter the number of minutes you wish to give your employees to clock in or out before or after their scheduled shift start or end time. Example For example: to allow employees a clock-in window of 10 minutes on either side of their scheduled start time, enter "10" in the Early Clock-in Window field and "10" in the Late Clock-in Window field. With this setting, if an employee's scheduled shift starts at 6 pm, he or she can clock in between 5:50 and 6:10 pm. Outside of that 20-minute window, the employee will require a manager override.

4.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes.

5.Refresh Terminal to start monitoring clock-in and clock-out times.
