The bottom row of the tables on each of the tabs in Today> Operations Planning> Sales Forecast is the Store Projection. If you have set your Default Store Forecast setting to System Forecast, Store Projection values will be based on historical sales data. In some circumstances, such as a special event or the introduction of new menu items, you may want to manually adjust the Store projection to reflect your own estimate of upcoming sales. You may also use the System or Corporate projection rows as a guide when adjusting the Store Projection values.
Note If you have set Default Store Forecast settings to zero, you must use this procedure to enter Store Projection values manually. If the Store Projection row for any day is not reset from zero, schedule labor figures and prep planning figures will not be accurate. |
1.Go to Today> Operations Planning> Sales Forecast.
2.Click on one of the tabs at the top of the window to view sales data.
3.In the Store Projection row, click a column and use the arrows to adjust numbers, or type a new value.
4.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes.
