For one customer order, you can have preparation tickets, or make tickets, print in several different prep areas of your restaurant. You do this using make routes. Each item in the order can be directed to a different make route.
For example, you have two prep areas in your restaurant: the kitchen and the bar. All food orders are prepared in the kitchen, and all drink orders are prepared in the bar. Each prep area has its own printer. When a customer places an order for a pizza and a drink, the make ticket for the pizza, which has been assigned the "Kitchen" make route, will print at the printer in the kitchen. The make ticket for the drink, which has been assigned the 'Bar' make route, will print at the bar printer.
You assign items to make routes in Menu Designer. See Assign Make Routes to Items.
You assign printers to make routes in Store Manager. See Printer Make Routes (in Store Manager Help).
