You can limit the availability of menu items by date. This is useful for seasonal or promotional items that you want to make available to your customers for a limited amount of time.
To Set Available Dates for a Menu Item:
1.In the Menu Tree, click a menu item node. 
(You may have to expand Group nodes 
to locate the menu item.)
2.Under Date Restriction, select the Check Dates check box.
3.Enter a date range in the Effective and Expiration lists. The menu item will only be active between these dates.

Hint If you want to set an activation date, but do not want the item to expire, set an expiration date far into the future. |
A menu item that is not available can not be ordered from Terminal. If the menu item has an associated button on a menu panel, the button will be hidden.
