If you use a variation of your menu for different store locations, you will want to consider using Store Groups in your menu. This feature allows you to centralize menu management, improve consistency, and distribute the same menu file to all your stores while allowing for regional differences.
With the Store Groups tab you can restrict menu items to certain locations, and even price an item (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.) differently at different locations.
Considerations for Multiple Store Locations:
There are a few issues you need to address when you use the same menu in different locations:
If not, use a generic name for taxes and deposits (for example, federal tax, provincial tax, state tax, regional tax, 2 Liter or 350ml). Do not name the taxes and bottle deposits by the amount (8% or 10¢), as the amount may differ depending on location.
The name you give to the taxes and deposits must match what is set up in the location’s Store Manager settings. If the names match, then Terminal will calculate the taxes and deposits based on the Store Manager settings. If not, you will receive an error in Terminal telling you that the tax does not exist. The order can be completed but no tax will be charged.
For more information on setting up your tax items and tax groups in Store Manager and Menu Designer, see Taxes and Tax Groups Tab.

If you use separate menu files for each location and want to sell the same item at more than one location, you must use the same PLU for the item in all menu files. Coordinating PLUs between multiple menus can be time-consuming and prone to errors.
Store Groups allow you to customize a single menu file for different regions or stores by restricting any item node to certain Store Groups. Buttons and screens that are restricted to certain stores will only appear in the menu at those stores. See Add Store Groups for more information.

If not, use Store Groups to control price differences between locations. Each price node in the menu can be assigned to a Store Group.

Coupons, if they are different, can be managed from head office by assigning Store Groups to each coupon node or group.
Alternatively, allow individual locations to manage their own store-specific coupons by providing them with a Restricted Mode password. See Allow Location-Specific Coupons.
