Master product codes can be used by multi-store organizations as a way to create standard identifiers for every menu item and modifier. Although some stores in an organization may refer to an item or modifier by different names, the master product code is what will be used to identify items and modifiers in the DayFiles and exported menu files.
You can assign a master product code to each item and modifier in your menu.
To Assign a Master Product Code to an Item or Modifier:
1.In the Menu Tree, click the item or modifier node that needs a master product code.
2.In the Property Editor, enter a Master Product Code. (Codes can be any combination of letter, numbers, or symbols, up to a maximum of 50 characters.)
3.Repeat for each of your menu items and modifiers.
