5.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes. 6.Refresh Terminal to implement your new settings. |

You can add a pop-up message to your Terminal menu that allows you to prompt the order-taker with a "Yes" or "No" question. The order-taker is sent to a specific menu panel based on the answer they select. For example, if the prompt is "Would you like to try our new wings with this order today?" and the answer is "Yes," the order-taker is taken directly to the menu screen that contains the wings to add to the order. This feature can be used to up-sell the order (for example, "Would you like something to drink with that?") introduce a new menu item (for example, "Would you like to try our new breadsticks?") or remind the order-taker to say "Thank you" or "Don't forget, we are open late now."
1.Go to the Settings> Hardware>Station Options > Preferred Panel tab. In this example, a prompt will appear when the order-takers leave the menu, and they will be taken to the appetizer menu screen if they touch "No" in response to the prompt question. 2.Select the station to configure in the list on the left. 3.Select Prompt for Preferred Panel to set up a prompt for the order-taker. 4.Optionally, in the Menu Panel list, select the panel you want the order-taker to be taken to when they respond to the prompt.
5.In the Prompt area, enter the text you want to display in the pop-up message. 6.In the Prompt When list, select when to have the prompt displayed: a.Order Completion: The prompt displays when the order-taker touches Complete or Tender on the Full Review screen. b.Order Type Selection: The prompt displays when the order-taker selects the order type (Delivery, Pick Up, To Go, Dine In). c.Leaving Menu Form:The prompt displays when the order-taker leaves the Terminal Menu screen by touching another Terminal button ( for example, Customer or Full Review). 7.In the Show Menu On list, select Yes to have the selected menu panel appear when the order-taker touches "Yes" or No to have the panel display when the order-taker touches "No."
8.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes. 9.Refresh Terminal to implement your new settings. |
