If you have installed the optional Above Store add-on, you can use it to distribute files from head office to outlying stores or store groups. These files can be any type, including menu (.slm), PDF, or MS Excel files, and do not have to be settings update packages.
To Distribute Files to Other Stores
1.On the Above Store menu, click Publish File.
2.Navigate to the file you want to send to the stores, select it, and click Open.
3.In the Publish Package window, select the check boxes opposite the stores or groups you want to distribute the file to.
4.If you are using SpeedLink to distribute the files and would like to send the file to the store using "urgent" mode select the Send To Urgent SubFolder check box. This will send the file the next time ScriptLink runs, if it was set up to perform urgent transfers during SpeedLink installation.
5.Click OK, and then Ok again. The file will be saved to the package publishing destination for the stores you selected (see To Set Up Stores and Store Groups for instructions on how to set the destination).
6.Distribute the files from the publish destination folders to your stores, either manually using e-mail attachments, removable media, or your standard electronic file transfer process (FTP) or automatically using SpeedLink.
