1.Go to Settings> People> Employees.
2.Double-click the employee whose pay rate is changing.
3.Click the Jobs tab.
4.If the employee has more than one job listed, click the job with the changed pay rate.
5.In the Pay Rate field, enter the new dollar figure that is earned in the selected salary type time span.
6.If the employee is paid an alternate pay rate, for example if the employee is a driver who is paid a tipped minimum wage while on the road, enter the new alternate pay rate (if changed).
7.Click OK, and OK again at the message.
Note Changes to the pay rate will not show on the Pay Period reports until the employee's next shift, but the new rate will be reflected in the Employee Info export file. See Export Employee Shifts. |
Note To change pay rates for shifts that have already been worked, the shift must be deleted and re-added by editing the time clock in Terminal. Contact SpeedLine Support if you require assistance. |
Hint If the change in pay rate is a result of a change to the minimum wage, remember to change the figure shown in the End of Day> Day Report Options> Labor Costs Minimum Wage field, so minimum wage is shown correctly on the Day Report. |
