If you want to permanently remove a button from your menu, you can delete it. If you only want to remove a button temporarily, see Hide a Button.
To Delete a Button:
1.In the Panels branch 
, double-click the panel that contains the button you want to remove.

Caution Deleting a button cannot be undone. If in doubt, hide the button temporarily. |
2.Right-click the button and choose Delete from the shortcut menu. The button is permanently removed.
3.On the File menu, click Close to close the Panel Designer.
3.Save the menu file and refresh Terminal. The button will no longer be visible on the menu screen.
