The Check Menu Settings tab allows you to set how and when warning messages will display when you test your menu using the Check Menu function. Hint, Warning, or Error messages can provide you with useful information about possible problems in key areas of your menu such as Coupons, Items (Anything that can be sold to a customer is considered a menu item. Pizza, drinks, and promotional merchandise are examples of menu items.), and Pricing.

To Adjust the Check Menu Settings

1.Click the Menu Root ButtonRootMenu, and then click the Check Menu Settings tab.

2.Adjust the settings for coupon nodes, item nodes, multi price nodes, and price nodes. Best practice settings for most operations are shown below.

Note Hints and Warnings do not require that you take any action, but Errors must be fixed before the menu file will function correctly in Terminal.

3.When finished adjusting settings, click the Save button ButtonSave on the toolbar.
