Using the Inventory Toolbar Buttons

Each of the Inventory screens contains a toolbar with buttons or icons to help you to complete a function on that screen. Clicking the drop-down button bDropdown beside toolbar buttons will display a selection of options for that function.

The table below shows the toolbar buttons in the Inventory section of Store Manager and briefly describes their purpose:

bAdd

The Add button creates new records or entries.

bDelete

The Delete button removes records or entries.

bDropdown

The Drop-down button opens drop-down lists of options.

bEdit

The Edit button opens highlighted records for editing.

bPinEditWindow

The Pin Edit Window button, found on the Stock Items and  Suppliers screens, attaches the edit window to the lower half of the screen - see Pin the Details Pane for more info.

bPrint

The Report Options Wizard button opens a Report Options wizard for the report to be viewed or printed.

bPost

The Post button posts a count, receive, transfer, or ideal usage file to an inventory period.

bFilter

The Filter button switches between a list of all entries, to only open or active list entries.

bClosePeriod

The Close button closes a period.

bOpenPeriod

The Reopen button reopens a closed period.

bWizard

The Wizard button starts a wizard.

bInterimInventory

The Interim Inventory button creates an Interim Inventory file.
