You can configure customer-facing display screens at Terminal stations to show a "slide show" of image files. During system idle (when there is no active ticket) full-screen logos or product marketing images are displayed. When there is an active ticket, half-screen images of current promotions or other products are displayed beside order details that appear as the order is entered.
There are four steps to complete when setting up customer presentation displays:
1.Prepare the images (see below).
2.Configure the display settings in Store Manager (see below).
3.Load Image files into Store Manager for display (see below).
4.Assign the presentation display to a station (see Assign Customer Displays to Stations).
Note Only JPG and BMP image file formats are supported. |
1.Use a graphics editing program (e.g., Microsoft Paint) to check and adjust the size of the images:
oFor the full-screen graphics that will be displayed during system idle (when there is not an active ticket), adjust the size to a maximum of 1024 pixels by X 768 pixels.
oFor the half-screen graphics that will be displayed when there is an active ticket, adjust the size to a maximum of 512 pixels X 768 pixels.
2.In Windows Explorer, browse to the SpeedLine folder on the computer hard drive.
3.Inside the SpeedLine folder, find the folder named PresentationImages.
4.Copy the sized image files into that folder.
