If menu items or modifiers have been marked "out of stock" in Terminal during the day, the "out of stock" mark may be cleared, either with or without a prompt, when day end is run. Follow the procedure below to select the desired setting.
To Set the Out of Stock Clear Option
1.Go to the Settings> End of Day> End of Day Options 
> General tab.
2.In the Out of Stock Items - Clear Options area, select one of the clear options:
•Select Do not Clear to prevent the clearing of items or modifiers that have been marked as out of stock when day end is run. The items will be recorded as out of stock until manually cleared in Terminal using the Out of Stock button on the User screen.
-or-
•Select Clear to automatically clear the out-of-stock mark from items or modifiers that have been marked as out of stock during the day when day end is run.
-or-
•Select Ask to Clear to activate a Day End prompt in Terminal that asks whether you want to clear out-of-stock items or modifiers.

Note Do not select Ask to Clear if you are using automated end of day. |
3.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes.
4.Refresh Terminal. Your changes will take effect when Day End is run.
