SpeedLine floor plans are automatically saved to the Floor Plans Backup folder when you click Save Changes on the Edit menu, or when you exit Store Manager. However, sometimes you may want to work with more than one floor plan, save a plan for use in another store, or load a plan sent from a head office. In these cases, follow the steps below to save or open a floor plan file.
To Save a Table Floor Plan to a File:
1.On the Settings tab, click Orders, and then click Table Service.
2.Click the Floor Builder tab.
3.Right-click in a blank area of the Floor Builder workspace and click Save to file.
4.Browse to where you want to save the existing plan (for example, C:\Speedline\Data\FloorPlans).
5.Name the file and save it. The file is saved with a .slfp (SpeedLine floor plan) extension.
To Load a Floor Plan from File:
1.On the Settings tab, click Orders, and then click Table Service.
2.Click the Floor Builder tab.
3.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes to save a backup of the existing floor plan, if there is one.
Caution If you load a new floor plan, unsaved changes to the existing plan will be lost. |
4.Right-click in a blank area of the Floor Builder workspace and click Open from file.
5.Browse to where you have saved the plan (for example, C:\Speedline\Data\FloorPlans).
Note To open a plan that was saved when Store Manager was closed, or by clicking Save Changes on the Edit menu, browse to the C:\Speedline\Data\FloorPlans\Backup folder. |
6.Name the file and save it. You are now ready to use or edit the plan. See Build a Table Floor Plan.
