Add a Drive-thru Order Confirmation Display

Outdoor drive-thru displays allow order-takers to take orders more quickly and accurately and give customers visual confirmation of their order details. SpeedLine integrates with drive-thru order confirmation displays from Delphi Digital Systems. This topic covers how to set up communication between SpeedLine and a drive-thru display. It does not cover how to specify what is displayed--this is done using the Delphi Display Manager software that is included with the display hardware.

To Add a Drive-thru Order Confirmation Display

1.Go to Settings> Hardware> Drive-thru Order Confirmation. icon_custPresentiationDrivethru

2.Click the Add button bAdd. Several new fields appear below the display list.

3.In the Name field, enter a unique name for the new display.

4.In the IP Address field, enter the IP address of the new display (obtained from the Delphi Display Manager program).

5.Select Include Ticket Notes to show ticket notes for active tickets on the display.

6.Select Include Selection Notes to show notes for menu selections (e.g., extra sauce) on the display.

7.Assign the drive-thru order confirmation display to a station.
