These settings are used if modifiers can be added to the menu item (for example, a topping to a pizza).
Allow Modifiers: Select if you want to be able to modify (add items to) this menu item.
Min. Modifiers: Type or select the minimum number of modifiers that must be added to the item before the order can be completed. Type "0" (zero) if no modifiers are required, or if modifiers are optional.
Max. Modifiers: Type or select the maximum number of modifiers that can be added to this menu item. Type "999" if there is no limit to the number of modifiers that can be added.
Highlight Modifiers: Select to print modifier captions in red ink on tickets (if using an impact printer that supports red print), or in the highlight style selected on the Store Manager Hardware> Printers> Device tab, if using a thermal printer.
