The Special Days feature is used to indicate holidays such as the 4th of July and Christmas. They will be displayed on three screens in Store Manager: Calendar, Scheduling, and Sales Forecasting.
If you use SpeedDine online ordering, you can also adjust online store hours and restrict online deferred order times for a special day. See Change SpeedDine Hours or Deferred Order Times.
To Set Special Days
1.Go to Settings> System> Special Days.
2.Click the Add button, and type a name for the day in the Name field.
3.In the Date field, click the arrow and choose a date for the special day.
4.Select Annual Event on This Date if the special day occurs on the same date each year (for example, Christmas or the 4th of July).
5.The Store Hours and Deferred Orders areas refer to SpeedDine® online ordering. If you are using SpeedDine, and would like to change the store hours or deferred ordering times shown on the ordering site, follow the steps in the Change SpeedDine Hours or Deferred Ordering Times topic.
6.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes. Special days will be shown on the Scheduling screen, Sales Summary screen, and on the Week and Month view of the Calendar screen.
