1.If not already on the SpeedLine Connect Sources tab, go to Settings> System> SpeedLine Connect,
and then click the SpeedLine Connect Sources tab.
2.Click the Restrictions sub-tab.
3.In the Allow Ticket Requests For list, do one of the following:
•If you want the source to be able to request information on only the tickets that originated from SpeedDine, select Tickets From This Source.
-or-
•If you want the source to be able to request information on all tickets that have been created at your store, select All Tickets. This would normally only be selected for a trusted source such as a head office or call center.
4.If you are using a conventional source, and the source charges the customer's card directly without sending authorization information to SpeedLine, select the Use Pricing from Source check box.
|
Note If you select Use Pricing from Source, SpeedLine pricing will be ignored, and all tickets from the source will be locked to prevent changes that could affect the price. |
|
Note If you select Use Pricing from Source, the manager alerts for Item Price Difference >= 50% and Tax Difference >= $0.10 are automatically selected on the SpeedLine Connect Sources, General sub-tab. See Set Connect Source General Properties (the previous topic in this tutorial). |
5.If you allow voiding of SpeedDine orders, select Allow Voiding of Tickets, and then in the Maximum Ticket Age (seconds) field, type or select a value for the maximum number of seconds after ticket creation that the ticket can be voided. A value of 10 or 15 minutes (600 or 900 seconds) is suggested, depending on how busy your store is.
6.On the Edit menu, click Save Changes.
