Use the procedure below to change the tax rate or deposit (for example, pop bottle deposit) charged on the products you sell.
To Change Tax or Deposit Rates

Caution Tax or deposit changes should be made only after running day end or before making any sales the next day. |
1.Go to Settings> Money> Tax Items. 
2.In the list on the left, click to highlight the tax you wish to change. (If you are changing a deposit, the tax will be named "Deposit" or something similar.)
3.In the Value field, highlight the existing value and type a new one.
4.On the Edit menu, select Save Changes.
5.Refresh Terminal to implement your new tax rate or deposit.
